Eat a Banana to cure Leg Cramps

Eat a Banana. Banana's contain potasium, which is usually the problem if you're having a leg cramp.

Huge help

I'm a new runner training for my first full marathon, and along with the intense training comes the leg cramps. They have been waking me up throughout the night for the past few weeks, but I've started to try to boost my potassium by eating bananas and its made a huge difference. No more waking up to sharp leg pains.

If you have a leg cramp and eat a banana it won't cure it right away, but it will help it from flaring up if you are struck by cramps. It is more of a preventative measure than anything else.
